This property is located in one of the 14 villages (Cañada del Gamo) that make up the municipality of the famous old town of Fuente Obejuna in the province of Cordoba, Andalucia, Spain. Fuente Obejuna is at an altitude of 650 metres and is one of the oldest municipalities in Spain, it was travelled and inhabited by the Romans when they wanted to conquer the Lusitanians, by the Visigoths and Muslims until the Christians made it theirs again. It is famous for mining, honey production and nowadays for livestock farming, because most of its territory is surrounded by holm oaks, which produce the acorns consumed by the very tasty Iberian pigs.
